Rourkela, April 22, 2025: The South Eastern Railway’s Chakradharpur Division has announced temporary train cancellations and partial suspensions due to an ongoing modernisation drive between Rourkela and Bondamunda. The scheduled work, spanning from April 21 to April 26, 2025, aims to enhance safety, transport efficiency, and freight operations.
Affected Trains
Several key passenger trains will be fully canceled, including:
- Puri–Hatia Tapaswini Express (18452 & 18451) on select dates.
- Rourkela–Puri Express (18125 & 18126) on April 24, 25, and 26.
- Gunupur–Rourkela Rajyarani Express (18117/18118) on April 24 and 25.
Additionally, some trains like the Ispat Express and Maurya Express will operate on revised routes or be terminated early.
