( Newshub Desk) Chandipur Beach in Odisha’s Balasore district is gearing up for a massive eco-tourism revamp, with the state government investing ₹11 crore to secure the prestigious Blue Flag certification.
The initiative aims to transform the scenic beach into a world-class tourist destination, emphasising sustainability, infrastructure development, and new attractions.
Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, who also heads Odisha’s Tourism Department, conducted an aerial inspection on Friday, underlining the beach’s untapped potential.
“Chandipur Beach is blessed with natural beauty and nearby islands. With the right infrastructure and eco-friendly amenities, it can become a major tourist magnet,” Parida told local media.
