Mumbai ( Newshub desk)Actor Sooraj Pancholi has revealed how his visit to the Somnath temple unexpectedly paved the way for his latest film, Kesari Veer.
While visiting the temple with his family, Pancholi encountered a statue of Veer Hamirji Gohil, a historical warrior who defended Somnath.
Unaware of Hamirji Gohil’s legacy at the time, Pancholi later learned about his heroic story and was soon approached for the lead role in Kesari Veer, a historical war drama.
The film was completed in just 70 days, and audiences have praised Pancholi’s performance alongside co-stars Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, and Akanksha Sharma. Reflecting on his temple visit, Pancholi said, “It truly changed my life.
Within a week of returning, all my difficulties seemed to vanish, and I was offered this film. Somnath has immense power.”
With strong reviews and audience reception, Kesari Veer marks Pancholi’s compelling return to the big screen
