(Neshub Desk)At the United Nations Headquarters, India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar made a compelling appeal to the global community, calling for unwavering resolve against terrorism and state-sponsored extremism.

Speaking during the inauguration of the digital exhibition “The Human Cost of Terrorism” (running June 30–July 11), he stated:

“No impunity to terrorists. No treating them as proxies. No yielding to nuclear blackmail.”

His remarks come in the wake of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack, which killed 26 civilians, prompting Operation Sindoor—India’s resolute military response.

With Pakistan set to assume the presidency of the UN Security Council, Jaishankar’s address carried added geopolitical weight.

The exhibition prominently features the 1993 and 2008 Mumbai attacks, as well as the recent Pahalgam massacre, drawing links to Pakistan-based terror outfits.

Jaishankar thanked the UN for condemning the Pahalgam attack and reaffirmed India’s commitment to placing victims of terrorism at the centre of counter-terror discourse.

“This exhibition gives voice to the voiceless—lives interrupted by terror. It is a tribute to victims and a call to action for the world,” he concluded, urging the international community to act decisively.

Attended by global diplomats and ambassadors, the event showcased India’s firm stance in today’s evolving security architecture, highlighting the country’s refusal to tolerate diplomatic leniency toward terrorism exporters.
