( Newshub Desk) Odisha has seen a fresh surge in COVID-19 cases, with seven new infections reported, pushing the state’s total tally to 30. The spike has raised concerns among health authorities, who continue to urge citizens to adhere to safety measures.

According to official reports, Khurda district remains the hardest hit, registering 16 cases, followed closely by Cuttack with nine cases.

Additionally, one case each has been detected in Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendujhar, Sundargarh, and Balasore.

Health officials are emphasising the importance of social distancing and hygiene protocols to curb the virus’s spread.

Residents have been advised to stay vigilant, especially in regions with higher caseloads.
