Bhubaneswar, May 31, ( Newshub Desk)– In a high-profile crackdown on alleged corruption, Odisha Vigilance conducted simultaneous searches at multiple properties linked to N. Dillip Choudhury, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of Berhampur R&B Division.
The operation targeted suspected disproportionate assets beyond his known sources of income.
The searches, executed under warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur, covered:
- A 2 BHK flat at Spectrum Royale, Dharma Nagar, Berhampur.
- A double-storeyed house at Mayuree Vihar, Berhampur.
- His official premises are at R&B Division-1, Berhampur.
- A 3 BHK apartment at Evos Exotica, Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
A team comprising three DSPs, seven Inspectors, and other officials led the operation, scouring locations for incriminating financial documents and assets.
uthorities suspect unauthorised wealth accumulation, though further details on recoveries remain awaited.
With investigations ongoing, Vigilance officials are likely to scrutinise the financial records and asset details of Choudhury. The results of the raid will determine potential legal proceedings against the officer.
