Bhubaneswar, July 10,(Newshub desk) — Odisha’s former Chief Minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to arrive in Bhubaneswar on Saturday, July 12 at 11:50 AM, following a successful surgery for cervical arthritis at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
After weeks of recovery, Patnaik has been declared fit and is said to be in high spirits.
The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has announced elaborate plans for a grand welcome, including a procession from the airport to Naveen Niwas, his residence in the state capital.
Senior BJD leaders like Debi Prasad Mishra, Sanjay Kumar Das Burma, Arun Kumar Sahu, and Subhashish Khuntia confirmed Patnaik’s arrival during a press briefing at Sankha Bhawan.
Thousands of party workers and supporters are expected to participate in the welcome procession, signifying unwavering support for their leader.
Patnaik’s return is expected to boost party morale and spark political activity within the state, with speculation surrounding his strategic moves in Odisha’s evolving political climate.
