( Newshub Desk)In a minor reshuffle of the Odisha IAS cadre, the state government has reassigned key officials to optimise administrative efficiency.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, a 1997-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Works Department.
He will continue holding his additional responsibilities in the Information & Public Relations and Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Departments.
Additionally, Yamini Sarangi, a 2008-batch IAS officer, has been given additional charge as Commissioner-cum-Secretary for the Rural Development Department while maintaining her current role as Commissioner of Commercial Taxes & GST.
Vir Vikram Yadav, a 1996-batch IAS officer who was serving as the Principal Secretary of the Works Department, has been relieved from his state government duties.
He will now assume the role of Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change at the central government.
This reshuffle underscores Odisha’s commitment to ensuring effective governance and continuity in administrative operations.
