A high-level preparatory meeting, led by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, was held at Lok Seva Bhavan to organize President Droupadi Murmu’s upcoming visit to Odisha on March 24–25, 2025.
The meeting focused on ensuring smooth arrangements, emphasizing security, logistics, and infrastructure.
The President’s visit itinerary includes arrival at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar, followed by a helicopter journey to the Kantilo Nilamadhab Temple in Nayagarh.
After offering prayers, she will attend the Bharatiya Vishwas Samaj Foundation’s foundation day celebration in Kaliapalli as the Chief Guest.
She will stay overnight at Raj Bhavan in Bhubaneswar and depart for New Delhi the next morning.
Government officials, including district collectors and senior officers, participated in the meeting, ensuring all preparations align with protocol.
Key highlights included road repairs, setting up a temporary helipad, barricading event venues, and the establishment of a control room for logistics and security coordination.
