Led by Transport Commissioner Amitabh Thakur, authorities, including the police and the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), gathered to streamline transportation and ensure a hassle-free pilgrimage.

- Public Transport Boost: Increased bus services from Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, plus free auto shuttle services within Puri.
- Fair Pricing Enforcement: Fixed fares with rate charts displayed in buses and autos.
- Safety and Amenities: CCTV surveillance, police monitoring, temporary shelters, drinking water, and first-aid kits available at key locations.
- Round-the-Clock Control Room: A 24-hour operational unit in Puri equipped with repair teams, cranes, and ambulances.
- Special Traffic Teams: Managing congestion zones across highways and major city bus stands.
