The individual, reportedly associated with Dangarbori Primary School, is under scrutiny for alleged involvement in the leak of Paper I and II of the Special OTET exam.
The exam, scheduled for July 20, was abruptly cancelled just hours before commencement after images of the question papers surfaced on social media platforms, including WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram.
The leak disrupted the plans of nearly 75,000 teaching aspirants across Odisha.
Crime Branch officials have launched a multi-district investigation, questioning suspects and exploring various angles.
hile the detained teacher is under suspicion, authorities have yet to confirm their direct involvement.
In response to the breach, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, transferred six officials on July 26. Officials have vowed to implement stricter security protocols for future exams and assured stern action against those responsible.
