Bahrain, May 25, ( Newshub desk)– During a diplomatic visit to Bahrain, AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi made a strong statement, calling Pakistan a “failed state” and urging global intervention against its alleged role in terror financing.

Owaisi, part of an Indian delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda, emphasised India’s firm stance on cross-border terrorism and highlighted Pakistan’s continued support of militant groups.

Referring to India’s advanced defence systems, he warned that any future aggression from Pakistan would face severe consequences.

The discussion gained urgency following the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, which resulted in 26 civilian casualties, mostly tourists.

Owaisi directly blamed Pakistan-backed terror groups for the violence and urged Bahrain’s government to condemn Pakistan’s actions and support India’s push to reinstate Pakistan on the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list.

“This money is being used to fund terrorism. We hope Bahrain joins us in calling out this danger,” Owaisi stated, emphasising the need for international cooperation to curb terrorism.

He also underscored that despite political differences within India, the nation stands united on national security.

The Indian delegation included several prominent MPs and Ambassador Harsh Shringla, marking India’s continued diplomatic efforts to rally global support against Pakistan’s terror networks.
