PURI(Newshub desk): The sacred Rath Yatra 2025 concluded on a harmonious note in Puri as the revered Niladri Bije ritual marked the return of the divine trio—Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra—to their sanctum sanctorum atop the Ratna Singhasana.

Thousands of devotees, gathered from across India, witnessed the traditional Goti Pahandi procession on Tuesday night.

The ritual began with Lord Sudarshan and culminated in an emotionally charged procession of Lord Jagannath, accompanied by rhythmic chants, cymbals, and spiritual fervour echoing through the temple town.

With the deities now reinstated, the daily rituals at the Puri Srimandir have resumed in full glory.

Notably, the much-awaited Mahaprasad—also known as Nilachala Abadha—has returned to Ananda Bazaar, allowing devotees to partake in the sacred offerings once more.

The seamless coordination of the nine-day mega festival once again highlighted Odisha’s cultural legacy and robust administrative preparedness.

Officials hailed the peaceful conclusion of the Rath Yatra as a testament to spiritual unity and collective devotion.
