Tata Steel Kalinganagar and NINL Observed International Day of Yoga

~ Over 500 people participated in various events organised during the occasion

Kalinganagar, June 21, 2025 – In order to promote health and wellness among its workforce and their family members, Tata Steel Kalinganagar and NINL observed the ‘International Day of Yoga’ on Saturday.

On the occasion, a yoga session was jointly organised by Joint Departmental Council, Steel and Mills and Occupational Health Centre under the banner of Wellness Corner at Kalinganagar Township. Praveen Thampi, Chief , Cold Rolling Mill, TSK graced the occasion as Chief Guest and also awarded the winners of ‘Best Yoga Posture Competition’ organised earlier this week. A Similar session was organised at the Security Training Ground by the Security Department showcasing the company’s dedication to promoting a healthy lifestyle among its employees and their families.

Over 250 participants, including employees and their family members, enthusiastically engaged in the yoga sessions, fostering a spirit of togetherness and well-being.

Similarly, Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited also joined the celebration by organising various yoga sessions both within the plant and in their township, where more than 250 employees and their family members participated.

The celebrations is a testament of Tata Steel Kalinganagar and NINL’s ongoing commitment to employee wellness. Through initiatives like these, the organisation strives to promote a healthy and harmonious lifestyle among its workforce.
