In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Odisha Government has transferred ten Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers across various districts. The move, announced by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, places several officers under the Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water (PR & DW) Department for posting as Block Development Officers (BDOs).
Among the key transfers:
- Anjuni Kujur, Deputy Collector of Deogarh, has been reassigned to the PR & DW Department for BDO posting.
- Sharadha Suman, Deputy Collector of Mayurbhanj, will now serve as Deputy Collector, Baripada under the Sub-Collector’s office.
- Kshamanidhi Bhoy, former BDO of Naktideul (Sambalpur), has been placed under the GA & PG Department for further posting.
Other officers including Nitushree Meher, S.K. Nasim, Sameer Kumar Patro, Jayajagat Sahu, Sarthak Sourav Mohapatra, Subhankari Sudeshna Dash, and Bibekananda Mishra have also been reassigned, with most designated for BDO roles under the PR & DW Department.
The government has directed controlling officers to relieve the transferred officials immediately to ensure swift joining at their new postings.
This reshuffle is expected to streamline administrative efficiency and reinforce governance at the grassroots level.
