KIIT International School’s Swastika Mishra and Adweya Sarangi Win Bhubaneswar Edition of TCS InQuizitive 2025

BHUBANESWAR: Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) (BSE: 532540, NSE: TCS) witnessed a dynamic display of intellect, teamwork and quick thinking at the Bhubaneswar edition of its flagship annual quiz, TCS InQuizitive 2025. The city round, part of a 12-city national series that is open to students from classes 8 to 12, drew an enthusiastic response from around 440 young minds eager to showcase their knowledge.

The Bhubaneswar edition witnessed an impressive turnout, with 220 teams representing over 30 schools from across Odisha and beyond. Several outstation teams travelled from cities such as Cuttack, Hamirpur, Sambalpur, Bhilai, Puri, Sakhigopal, and even Purulia (West Bengal) to participate in this keenly contested event. After a gripping final round of quizzing excellence, Swastika Mishra and Adweya Sarangi from KIIT International School emerged victorious, clinching the top honours at the city edition. Their performance stood out for its composure, accuracy, and sheer presence of mind. The event was graced by eminent dignitaries, including Mr. Vishal Kumar Dev, IAS Officer, Chairman & Additional Secretary, Electronics & Information Technology Department, Orissa Computer Application Centre (OCAC), Bhubaneswar, who attended as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Bibhu Panda, Center Head, TCS Bhubaneswar.

TCS InQuizitive is an innovative learning initiative that has been inspiring young minds for over two decades. Introduced with the aim to spark curiosity and expand awareness among students from Grades 8 to 12, it covers diverse fields, including information technology, science, sports, engineering and art. The 2025 edition is travelling across 12 cities — Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur and Pune, with each city adding a unique chapter to the journey. The competition will culminate in a semi-final and grand finale, where one school will be crowned the TCS InQuizitive National Champions of 2025. The winners of the Bhubaneswar edition will now advance to represent the region in the National Finals, competing against top teams from other cities across India.
