TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of its new Electrical Sub-Store at Kendrapara, reinforcing its commitment to reliable and efficient power supply across its operational areas.
The facility was inaugurated by Shri Dushyant Kumar Tyagi, Chief Operating Officer (COO), in the presence of senior officials and employees. The ceremony began with the ribbon-cutting, followed by the unveiling of the inauguration plaque, formally dedicating the sub-store to service.
The Kendrapara Electrical Sub-Store is strategically established to strengthen the power distribution network in the Paradeep Circle. The facility is expected to play a crucial role during emergency situations such as cyclones, storms and Kalabaisakhi by ensuring faster restoration of power supply. With the capacity to mobilize and replace 50–60 transformers in a short time, the sub-store will significantly reduce outage duration and improve response time during natural calamities.
This development is set to enhance operational efficiency, streamline material management and enable quicker resolution of electricity-related issues for consumers in the region. Thousands of consumers are expected to benefit from improved service reliability and reduced downtime.
