Renault India, the wholly owned subsidiary of Renault Group, today announced the launch of the all-new Triber 100PS, marking the Indian debut of the company’s new Renault Group Entry Platform (RGEP). Designed for customers seeking effortless performance without compromising on practicality, the Triber 100PS combines Renault’s proven modular seven-seater DNA with an entirely re-engineered vehicle architecture, a 100 PS turbocharged powertrain and advanced vehicle dynamics. Available from INR 7.84 Lakh (ex-showroom), the Triber 100PS delivers a unique proposition in the Indian market by bringing together seven-seat flexibility, turbocharged performance, exceptional fuel efficiency, and sub-4-metre tax benefits in a single package.
Renault India’s First RGEP Product: The Triber 100PS becomes Renault India’s first vehicle built on the new Renault Group Entry Platform (RGEP), a highly adaptable architecture developed to support future mobility requirements and multiple powertrain solutions. Designed for evolving regulatory requirements as well as customer expectations, RGEP provides the foundation for enhanced performance and improved ride & handling characteristics.
Notably, the Triber 100PS is not merely a powertrain upgrade but a comprehensively re-engineered vehicle around the new platform architecture with extensive developments across engine management, thermal systems, chassis tuning and structural integration to deliver holistic driving experience.
Engineered from scratch: At the heart of the Triber 100PS is Renault’s turbocharged TCe 100 engine producing 100 PS and a segment-leading 180 Nm of torque, delivering confident acceleration and effortless drivability across varied road conditions. Supporting the powertrain is an all-new Renault Engine Management System (R-EMS) developed to optimize performance, responsiveness, and efficiency.
The vehicle also benefits from a completely reworked engineering package including:

A key element of the thermal-management system used in the Triber 100PS is the adoption of a Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) cooling fan, a technology more commonly associated with higher-category vehicles, including hybrid and electric vehicles. The BLDC system enables more precise cooling management, improved energy efficiency and enhanced thermal performance, contributing to both drivability and fuel-efficiency optimization.
The Triber 100PS delivers a compelling balance of performance and efficiency. Its power output and torque delivery put Triber 100PS among the strongest petrol offerings in its class while achieving certified 21 kmpl fuel efficiency.
Together, these enhancements create a more planted, stable, and confidence-inspiring driving experience while preserving the everyday usability that defines the Triber.

Many lives, one car: While the engineering package has been extensively revised, the versatility at the heart of the Triber remains unchanged.
The Triber 100PS retains flexible seating configurations for five, six or seven occupants. Its modular interior includes Easy-Fix third-row seats, slide-and-recline second-row seating, one-touch tumble access and multiple passenger and luggage configurations.
With its sub-four-metre length and 1.0-litre petrol engine, the Triber 100PS qualifies for the 18% GST rate applicable to small petrol cars, while offering seating for up to seven occupants. More than 2.5 lakh Triber vehicles have been sold in India, making it one of Renault India’s most successful products.
Comfort, convenience and safety: Depending on the variant, the Triber 100PS offers an eight-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital LED instrument cluster, automatic air-conditioning, cruise control, a wireless charger, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps and a Smart Access Card.
Independent rear air-conditioning, with vents for the second and third rows, supports passenger comfort across the cabin.
The Triber 100PS is equipped with six airbags and 21 safety features as standard. Depending on the variant, additional equipment includes front parking sensors, a rear-view camera with guidelines and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.
