Future of AI, Careers and Start-ups Discussed at Birla Global University AI Conclave

Bhubaneswar: Students, innovators and industry leaders gathered at Birla Global University for the inaugural Times EduRise AI Boot Camp & Conclave, a major event focused on Artificial Intelligence, entrepreneurship and the changing world of work.

Organised in partnership with The Times of India, the event featured engaging panel discussions, AI hackathons, quizzes and interactive sessions designed to help students understand opportunities in the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.

Chief Guest Prof. Karuna Kar Nanda, Director of Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar, said AI is driving transformation across industries and has become increasingly important in fields like healthcare and scientific research.

Dr. B. K. Das, Registrar of BGU, emphasised the need to prepare students with industry-relevant skills and innovation-driven learning.

The conclave hosted two major panel discussions. The first focused on AI-powered entrepreneurship and featured start-up founders, finance professionals and business leaders discussing funding, scalability and innovation in the AI era.

The second session examined the future workplace and explored whether humans can stay ahead in an AI-driven world. Experts discussed automation, digital transformation and the importance of critical thinking, adaptability and creativity.

Students actively participated in hackathons and quiz competitions throughout the day, showcasing innovative ideas and collaborative problem-solving skills.

The programme concluded with prize distribution and a renewed commitment by BGU and The Times Group to promote AI awareness, innovation and future-ready education among youth.
