Jaipur ( Newshub Desk ): Odisha’s tourism sector made significant strides at the Meet in India Conclave held in Jaipur, drawing praise from Central Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for its ambitious growth trajectory.

The event placed Odisha firmly on the map of MICE tourism (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), highlighting its potential to become an international business and event destination.

Leading Odisha’s delegation, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida and Tourism Commissioner Balwant Singh presented a compelling roadmap for attracting global visitors and investors.

They emphasised Odisha’s rich cultural heritage, picturesque landscapes, and modern infrastructure as key assets in its tourism expansion.

Shekhawat commended Odisha’s proactive initiatives, noting that the state’s tourism model sets a benchmark for sustainable development. He assured continued central support to elevate Odisha’s prominence as a national and international tourism hub.
