Bhubaneswar: Reinforcing its commitment to expanding access to investment solutions across India, Tata Asset Management has opened a branch in Rourkela, Odisha. The new branch will enable investors, distributors and financial advisors in the region to access Tata Mutual Fund’s wide range of investment products and services, while promoting greater awareness of financial planning and long-term wealth creation.
The branch was inaugurated by Sandeep Mathur (Sr. Zonal Head – Sales – North & East) in the presence of senior officials from Tata Asset Management and members of the local financial community. It is located at Keshari Bhawan, 1st Floor, Main Road, Rourkela – 769012. It will be open from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday.
The launch comes at a time when the SIP culture is becoming more prevalent across Odisha.
As of May 2026 (latest available), the Tata Asset Management Average Assets Under Management (AAUM) in Rourkela have reached about Rs 490 crore, showing a 14.48% growth rate over the last month. This local resilience is mirrored at the national level, where Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) have seen an 18% Year-on-Year growth in monthly inflows compared to Rs 26,400 crore in April 2025. Despite market volatility, SIP inflows remained broadly stable, hovering around the ₹30,000 crore mark during the first four months of 2026, indicating sustained investor participation. According to AMFI data, as of April 2026 (latest available), the average AUM of investors from Odisha stood at Rs 1286 crore, with a growth rate of 54% over the past 2 years.
With this launch, Tata Mutual Fund now operates 12 branches in East zone, maintaining a strong national network of around 100 locations including resident representatives.
