Bhubaneswar: Bank of Baroda, India’s International bank, has strengthened its presence in Odisha with two key initiatives – the integration of its Internet Payment Gateway with the Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri, enabling devotees to make seamless online donations, and the inauguration of its first Phygital Branch in the Bhubaneswar Zone, taking the Bank’s total number of Phygital Branches across the country to 30.
The integration of the Bank’s secure Payment Gateway with the official website of the Shree Jagannath Temple, Puri, will allow devotees from across India and around the world to make donations online in a simple, secure and convenient manner. Devotees can now make online contributions for various purposes such as Corpus Fund Donation scheme, general donations, as well as the repair and renovation of the temple. The new facility will enable devotees to make offerings to the temple with ease, further strengthening their connection with the centuries-old shrine.
Bank of Baroda also launched its first Phygital Branch in Bhubaneswar Zone. Located at Janpath, Bhubaneswar, the Phygital Branch was inaugurated by Dr. Debadatta Chand, Managing Director & CEO, Bank of Baroda in the presence of Shri Sarat Kumar Panigrahi, GM & Zonal Head, Bhubaneswar Zone, along with other senior officials of the Bank.
The newly inaugurated Phygital Branch is designed to provide customers with a seamless blend of digital convenience and personalised banking assistance. Equipped with advanced self-service banking facilities and supported by dedicated customer service personnel, the branch will deliver a modern, efficient, and customer-friendly banking experience.
