Tata Steel Kalinganagar Collects 280 Units of Blood in Mega Donation Drive

Kalinganagar, June 18, 2026: In a major effort to support regional healthcare services, Tata Steel Kalinganagar successfully organised a massive blood donation camp at the Plot 2 Auditorium on Thursday.

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the workforce, resulting in the successful collection of 280 units of blood. Employees, along with their family members and contract workers of Tata Steel Kalinganagar, participated enthusiastically throughout the day, underscoring the Company’s deep commitment to voluntary blood donation and civic responsibility.

The event was graced by Probal Ghosh, Vice President, Asset & Energy Management, Tata Steel, as the Chief Guest, along with other senior officials of Tata Steel Kalinganagar.

The community-focused initiative, organised by the Occupational Health Centre and Wellness Corner of Tata Steel Kalinganagar, was conducted in close association with the Blood Bank of District Headquarter Hospital, Jajpur; Central Red Cross Blood Centre, Cuttack; and the Blood Bank of Community Health Centre, Jajpur Road.

Expressing his gratitude to the donors, Probal Ghosh, Vice President, Asset & Energy Management, Tata Steel, commended the collective spirit of the participants and the medical teams involved.

The initiative aimed to help local blood banks meet the critical demand for life-saving blood supplies.
