Kalinganagar, June 3, 2026: Neelachal Ispat Nigam Limited (NINL) organised a Career Counselling Programme for students belonging to Displaced families in association with ‘We Grow’, a Bhubaneswar based NGO at Community Centre, NINL Township on Tuesday.
The event was graced by Padmapal, MD & CEO, NINL, Animesh Samanta, CHRO, NINL, and Dr Subhashish Jamuda, Proprietor, We Grow and an experienced career counsellor.
The interactive session saw enthusiastic participation of nearly 42 students along with their parents and guardians. The programme aimed at guiding young minds towards informed career choices and empowering them to align their aspirations with emerging opportunities.
The programme featured an engaging session by Dr. Subhashish Jamuda, an experienced career counsellor, who provided valuable insights into various career pathways available after Class 10, intermediate (+2), and graduation. He highlighted emerging and futuristic career opportunities and motivated students to develop their abilities to meet the challenges of a dynamic job market.
Padmapal, MD & CEO, NINL, in his keynote address, emphasised the importance of identifying individual interests while choosing career paths. He encouraged students to focus on futuristic learning, explore opportunities in technology-driven start-ups, and enhance essential skills such as attentive listening. He also highlighted the importance of continuing such counselling initiatives for the greater benefit of society.
The programme concluded on a highly positive note, with participants appreciating NINL’s initiative in supporting the educational and career aspirations of DP families and expressing the need for organising more such programmes in the future.
